Magna Carta carries out and coordinates international research programs dealing with international law or human rights sensu lato. Public authorities, such as the European Commission, or private entities, support these programs. Our panels of experts and our researchers team work together on a regular basis to develop new research projects and ideas, respond to the calls for proposals made by donors, and implement the programs.

For that reason, Magna Carta works only with the best research centers, universities, researchers and experts and ensure the top quality of its research results. Training
Magna Carta undertakes the academic and logistic organization of training courses on international law and human rights in general or on any specific issues. The training programs are drafted on demand to respond to the specific needs and requests made by an administration, a private entity, a university, experts or by private individuals. The sessions can take place in Brussels or anywhere in the world, and may take the form of a seminar, university courses, summer school, workshop or conferences, public or private. Magna Carta undertakes broader assignments related to academic education in international law and human rights in drafting degrees programs for law schools and in organizing or coordinating long-term training and tuition programs for Bars or Judges associations.

Our objective
Our objective is the promotion of scholarship and academic excellence in international law and human rights. We offer university professors and academic researchers exposure to the international scene while taking part in consultancy and research projects in partnership with research centers and agencies worldwide. In addition, the institute conducts its own research programs thank to its dynamic team of researchers.
