Pietro Izzi has a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
He wrote a master thesis entitled “La légalisation des rapports internationaux comme défi pour la discipline des relations internationales de Stanley Hoffmann à Robert O. Keohane”.
The object of this work is to analyze the effect of legalization of the international relations on state sovereignty and its implication for the International Relations theories. The thesis starts with a state of the art of the international law approaches by the International Relations theorists and identifies the main reasons of this debate as well as the various schools which take part in it. Lastly, the work widens the relationship between International Relations theories and International Law to the contemporary field and introduces the continuators of Stanley Hoffmann and Robert O. Keohane.

The University for Foreigners Perugia is the oldest and most prestigious italian institution involved in teaching and research activities as well as in the diffusion of the Italian language and civilisation in all expressions. Its story began in 1921 when a lawyer by the name of Astorre Lupattelli, who had dedicated much of his life to the project, set up the first courses in high culture in his home town. His eventual aim was to heighten people’s awareness of the central Italian region of Umbria - whose chief town is Perugia - both throughout Italy and abroad, to describe its history, its institutions and its natural and artistic history.
