Karin Pluberg

- Research Assistant


Karin Pluberg has been a research assistant at the Magna Carta Institute since October 2008, working for the JANUS Project on the evolution of international law and international relations.

 

She first began her law studies at the University of Konstanz in 2000, then joined the partnership programme between the University of Potsdam and the Université de Paris X – Nanterre where she passed the DEUG and the Licence in the French Legal System. In 2005, she received her Master’s Degree in International and European Law. After having done some internships in different courts of justice and a law firm specializing in criminal law, she passed her first State Law Exam in German Law at the University of Potsdam in April 2008.

 

Since 2006 , Karin has also been working as a consultant for EuroSoc, a European think tank. She mainly worked for the EPS Programme (Europäische Politik Simulation), where she organized and coached role-plays dealing with the difficulties of the decision-making process in EU directives.

 

Karin is fluent in German, French (both native) and English.
